Justice Through Code Announces Partnership With Coursera

Justice Through Code and Coursera have teamed up to provide free life-changing access to online educational experiences to formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals.

Justice Through Code and Coursera have teamed up to provide free life-changing access to online educational experiences to formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals. If you are an applicant to Justice Through Code and are formerly incarcerated you are eligible, through our partnership with Coursera, for free access to classes on their online learning platform. 

What is Coursera?
Coursera is a leading online learning platform for higher education, where 66 million learners from around the world come to learn skills of the future. More than 200 of the world’s top universities and industry educators partner with Coursera to offer courses, Specializations, certificates, and degree programs.

What courses will I have access to?
Currently, Justice Through Code has a library of free courses that focus on the interpersonal and technical skills necessary to succeed in the technology workforce. However, we have the ability to add nearly any course that you have an interest in taking on the platform. If you find a course that is of interest to you, please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get back to you about adding it to our library. 

How do I sign up? 
You can sign up by clicking here and inputting your information. We process this information every weekend at which time you will receive an email from Coursera offering for you to sign up for free access to their learning platform through Justice Through Code's partnership with them. Please note, you must wait to receive this email and sign up through this process to be offered free access.
