NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship Program is accepting applications. The program awards $1,000 scholarships to selected NYCHA residents enrolled as undergraduates at the City University of New York (CUNY). The deadline to apply is July 23, 2020.
The program includes the following scholarships:
- NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship – for NYCHA residents who are full-time undergraduates at a CUNY college.
- Regina A. Figueroa Memorial Scholarship – for NYCHA residents with disabilities who are undergraduates at a CUNY college.
- Levine Family Scholarship – for NYCHA residents who are full-time undergraduates at the City College of New York.
- Kofi Hormeku Scholarship – for NYCHA residents living in Brownsville, East New York, or Ocean Hill, Brooklyn, who are full-time undergraduates at a CUNY college.
The scholarship is open to authorized NYCHA residents currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at CUNY with 30 or more credits and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
